Our Story

Built from firsthand experience in frontier markets

Venoble began with a diaspora perspective. Investors abroad looking to deploy capital into African markets found a clear gap: the data transparency, independent benchmarks, and basic capital markets tools that more developed markets take for granted simply did not exist.

We set out to close that gap. We started by publishing independent research and proprietary indices built from primary sources, giving investors the transparent, institutional-grade intelligence they needed to make informed decisions.

Today, we work with teams on the ground in Nigeria and across the continent, helping institutions, corporates, and individuals invest with confidence. Better transparency, broader access, and the capital markets infrastructure that Africa deserves.

Our Global Approach

Global standards, local depth

Frontier markets have opportunity. They lack infrastructure: the benchmarks, verified data, and systematic tools that developed markets take for granted. Venoble builds that infrastructure. Global institutional standards, deep local expertise, one market at a time.

Diaspora meets on-the-ground

Our team spans both sides of the Atlantic. From Canada: the product discipline and institutional rigor of North American capital markets. From Lagos: regulatory knowledge, data-source relationships, and physical presence that no remote team can replicate.

Global perspective, local execution. It shapes everything we build.

Built for institutional confidence

Capital doesn’t flow into markets investors don’t trust. Our job is to earn that trust: independent research rigorous enough to base real decisions on, benchmarks that reflect how markets actually behave, and data investors can verify for themselves. When the intelligence is credible, confidence follows.

Confidence alone isn’t enough. Investors need tools to act on it. We build systematic strategies, structured vehicles, and execution infrastructure so that capital can actually move into these markets. Understand the market, trust the data, deploy through it.

3Includes equities, bonds, ETFs, and other instruments listed on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) and select West African markets. Coverage spans corporate and government securities across multiple asset classes. The count reflects securities for which Venoble maintains structured reference data, corporate action records, independent research or index inclusion eligibility.
